My Nordic education marks my style
With Danish roots, my career is marked by a Nordic education based on the values of hygge: this philosophy of well-being and warmth that permeates daily life in Denmark. My mother, a teacher at Den Københavns Kunsthåndverkskole, and my father, a dedicated ceramist who studied at the faculty of fine arts in Berlin, were the fundamental pillars of my learning and my love for ceramics. From a very young age, I grew up immersed in a creative environment, surrounded by the art of modeling and giving life to clay. This symbiosis between artistic tradition and the essence of hygge has become the hallmark of my work. Each piece I create not only seeks to be functional or decorative, but also to transmit warmth, tranquility and that little corner of peace that we all look for. The ceramics is not just a technique, but also a way of capturing and sharing the balance between craftsmanship and personal well-being. This process takes place in my workshop, located in the beautiful medieval village of Peratallada. Here, in an environment that breathes history and tranquility, I give shape to each piece as an extension of my artistic and personal philosophy. This is the result of the fusion of hygge, my family ceramic heritage and the unique magic of Peratallada, which form the heart of my work.
